This was not adult injury repair. Gait and maze signals do not establish improvement over ungrafted mice, and graft activity has not been shown necessary for the behaviors.
Manipulate graft activity during specific tasks to distinguish modulation of host circuits from information processing.
What would change our view: If performance persists when graft activity is silenced, consider support of host development or reorganization.
A prospective test proposal, not a prediction score. A graph connection does not validate this hypothesis.
An editorial connection between questions, not a claim that the studies demonstrate the same mechanism or outcome.
Transplanted neural tissue and cultured fibrosis models have different uses. The comparison concerns evaluating the environment and function of interest, not cellular origin alone.

Reading at the time: A study examined human cortical organoid growth, connections, activity and behavior in mice with major developmental depletion of cortical and hippocampal excitatory neurons.
